Loved the homey atmosphere, the furry pets, and the owner was so kind. The location was close to the core downtown, and we easily walked everywhere. The other guests staying were fun to get to know as well.

This bnb is run by a Chinese family with a warm heart, burning hot in the cold north Canada. They will tell you everything straight like nobody else. If you are loud or talk too much, they will tell you to shut up. When they have reservations they give their room to you and let you use the bathroom first. One young son was always waiting in front of the computer with a curtain as his only place to relax and hide a bit. They also keep their private belongings in some suitcases near the stairs, never disturbing nobody. If you live in the same world where making money is a war, please think about their feelings. Would you choose this lifestyle in YK ? You would probably experience what a family is here better than nowhere. Family fights, family is happy, this is human thing more than business. So please book here to bring some happiness to them. If you're not happy, if you snore at night, or if it ever crossed your mind that a customer needs special services please book a different place.

We had a great stay! The place was very clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The bedroom was super comfortable, the living room and TV were great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We really appreciated the little details that made us feel at home. The location was peaceful and private, and on our second night we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the yard — an unforgettable experience! Highly recommended, we would definitely stay here again.

Quiet area in the heart of old town, private yard going down to the water, dark enough at night to see the stars and northern lights. Clean and comfortable beds, good coffee, kitchenette items provided so you could have cereal/eat your left overs. They brought a luggage rack over after we arrived and it definitely helped with a full 3 people in the room.
