Everything superb. Comfortable bed, fridge, fan and microwave in room. Full kitchen, access to laundry, near shops and restaurants. Secure locked parking about 70m in another hostel for 4.000 cpl per night. Friendly, very helpful hosts. Carol speaks very good English. Extremely clean throughout.

Simple, clean easy and good value. The shower was hot and the bathroom big enough to move around Friendly owner who let me park my car inside the gate even though street parking was available.

La Sombra del Viento is a fabulous place to stay at.It is owned and run by Marie,a lovely lady from France.I stayed for 4 nights and was made feel most welcome....My room was clean and serviced daily.Sleep quality was excellent.I liked the personal touches in the room-paintings on the wall,free bars of soap,etc... Breakfast was something to look forward to each morning....Marie bakes her own bread and makes her own yogurt and jam....The bread alone was a feast in itself... Location was perfect-a short walk to Plaza de Armas....I am happy to award La Sombra del Viento my highest grade....Top marks....10 out of 10.
