Mariela, the receptionist, was super friendly and helpful (great humour too)! we stayed in the Galaxy room and had a great view of the Peñol from a private terrace. The room was clean and had everything you need. We really liked the location since it was maybe 5min out of town and more quiet.

I stayed at Casa Clandestina Campestre and had a wonderful time. The staff were incredibly helpful and always ready to answer any questions, making my stay very comfortable. One of the best parts was enjoying breakfast while watching a variety of birds like toucans and even spotting monkeys. There are plenty of walking trails for those who enjoy hiking. If you prefer swimming, crystal-clear rivers are less than five minutes away. In general, Casa Clandestina Campestre is the ideal spot to escape the city and immerse yourself in nature. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat, as it is the perfect way to relax and unwind.

A charming place by the river, surrounded by nature and featuring cozy little houses that invite you to relax. The finca combines tranquility and beauty in every corner, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the surroundings. Maryluz is very kind and attentive, which makes the stay feel even more special. She organized us an amazing tour that combined a visit of the village, a short hike to a waterfall, visiting a coffee finca and learning about coffee - from the plant to the Cup - as well as one of the best sancochos we have eaten so far!!
