Beautiful spacious lodge overlooking the coffee farm. Jennifer gave us a nice tour of the farm and offered a great breakfast as well as leaving some fresh ground coffee in our room. Loved the view from our beds of the hillside!

The entire experience was great! The owner and his family are wonderful. The room is unique, clean, and beautiful. The hospitality was unmatched, and makes me want to come back immediately. The food is delicious. This was one of the highlights of our stay in Costa Rica! No complaints at all.

Very unique atmosphere! The treehouse idea is awesome. Coffee maker and fridge in the treehouse. Very private. Breakfast was included which was a nice touch and Alexander was a great host. Very helpful with information and bookings. We did the night tour which was right on site. Couldn't be happier with this stay.

I can't speak highly enough about Casa Haydee. The location, scenery, comfort, and amenities surpassed my expectations. The hotel has lots of beautiful plants and feeders to attract birds. The family clearly puts a lot of energy and love into their garden, which made it the perfect place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. The room was great with very comfortable beds and all of the appliances and supplies I needed. The location was also great. Just outside of town so I could fully enjoy the nature while still very close to everything, including a supermarket which was 1 minute away. I honestly wished I had more time at Casa Haydee and would have happily stayed for several more days. Better than anything though, was the family who owns the hotel. Kenneth was very communicative and helped me plan for my three days in Monteverde, even at the last minute. He connected me with a friend who was a fantastic guide (ask for Tony), made reservations for me at Sky Adventures, and organized taxis for me as needed. Throughout my stay he checked in on me through WhatsApp to see how everything was going and if I needed anything. His mother, Haydee, made a delicious breakfast with the best bread I had while in Costa Rica. On top of all of this, when there was an issue with my shared shuttle reservation back to San Jose (that I needed to make to catch my flight home the next day) Kenneth's brother in law jumped in the car at a minute's notice and literally chased the bus down the mountain. After more than 40km of driving full speed through the mountains (with squealing breaks on the turns), we caught my shuttle and I was able to make it back to San Jose on time. Despite this huge favor, Kenneth's brother in law refused to accept any payment from me. He acted like interrupting his Sunday plans with family for a 40 km high speed chase with a stranger was a completely normal thing to do. I think this is just the kind of family that owns Casa Haydee. Highly recommended.

Quiet and off the main road, room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a view over gardens. very friendly and helpful family run place. Great breakfast with lots of food. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and food was amazing! 10/10. Great paved walk through woods from rooms to restaurant and they turn the lights on in the evening so you can see.
