I booked a private tent for myself for a couple of nights. A very welcome change from the shared dorms. I think at habitat you get a lot for what you pay for. it’s clean. The kitchen area is a great place to meet new people. We played games there. The location is just perfect! The owner was very kind and helpful. Chill vibes. I would definitely recommend!

simply the best hostel I’ve ever been in my life, once there you don’t want to leave. The hostel is in a perfect position, 5 min walking from the center of Montezuma so it’s super calm and fresher at night. it’s really immersed in the jungle so you can see iguanas and monkeys from the windows but still it has very good mosquito nets. the dorms are comfy and there are enough bathrooms for all guests. The breakfast is super to start your day.

We felt like guests in the most positive meaning, not like clients. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms. You can swim in the pool at night and watch the stars. The hotel has not that many rooms and it never feels crowded. The area around the building is large and you can see wild animals. The location of the hotel itself is on some really steep hills, perfect if you like to hike (otherwise a car or similar is really recommended)

Casa colores was a DELIGHTFUL place to stay. The little houses are perfect for solo travelers and equally would have been great as a couple or family. Loved lazing around in the hammock, listening to the birds. The property grounds were beautiful - its a paradise. Mercedes was wonderful and as a solo traveller, she answered my Qs kindly about the area and made sure I was comfortable. The pool is a real treat on hot days too!
