Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience — a castle dating back to 1210, yet everything inside is in excellent condition. The room was spacious, the breakfast was luxurious, and the place itself is absolutely breathtaking.

We stayed in Hedersleben to visit the famous Quedlinburg Christmas market, only a short drive away. We had a double bedroom in the coach house ("Remise"). The room was rather cramped but the bathroom fairly spacious. Buffet-type breakfast with many choices was served in the cloister. We were particularly impressed by the abbey and by the exceptional friendlyness of the staff. They went out of their way to provide us with dinner and even sent us something home that we had forgotten in the room.
