The hosts Eissa and Soso were nothing short of excellent and continued during my stay to make me feel welcome beyond what any other accommodation in the past has done. A close knit family is how I would describe this accommodation where you just become family. Welcome home future guests you are going to love this place

We stayed 4 fantastic days at Hostalio. The staff, like Mustafa, Abdullah, Juba, and all the other guys, treated us like family members. They called us taxis anytime we asked; they were ready to help promptly. We travelled at the time of Eid-al-Adha and decided to celebrate with them. Abdullah offered to show us their praying place; he bought us their traditional sugarcane drink, took us to a place where a lot of Muslims prayed together at the same time, and then we went to see the place where people slaughtered sheep, goats, and lambs. He even offered me his own traditional Muslim dress that I was more than happy to wear. On the afternoon Abdullah knocked on our door and invited us for dinner of their traditional food, which was so delicious. We had great long talks with Mustafa (archaeologist) on the terrace almost every night, and he was more than willing to share their culture and all his knowledge about the pyramids. The breakfast was delicious and huge! So all in all, everything was fantastic!

The owner was very kind and helped me with my life in Giza. If I had any problems, he would contact me right away. The room was spacious and had a view of the pyramids, so it was a comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again.

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We didn't have a mobile phone or Uber app, and staff arranged most of our transfers for us. Also arranged for a driver-guide to take us to the Giza pyramids on our last morning. Incredible view from our room. Rooftop restaurant was wonderful - view, breakfast buffet, dinner menu.

An incredible inn with a perfect view of the pyramids. And considering the price of the sound and light show, your stay basically pays for itself. I was put in a room next door at the Pyramids Overlook Inn which was equally beautiful, so no issues there. The breakfast was also very tasty. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming, and only added to the experience. The rooftop was also a great place to socialise, if you are keen to meet fellow travellers. Highly recommended!
