Breakfast on a tray without giving us a knife fork or spoon to eat it with. Told to arrive between 5-7. We arrived 5,20, no one to greet us until half an later. We had moved a table into the shade to try and keep cool, and when grumpy hostess arrived, no apology, merely an order to put the table back to where it was at once. Not told that the Tour de France was coming along the road next day, and that the road would be closed all day, so we had to move our car in the evening to avoid being trapped all day. Altogether a throughly unhappy stay.

This place far exceeded our expectations! Really conveniently located, great to see both sides of the Volcanoes natural park. The room was really clean, pretty and cosy, with some well thought and appreciated additions, like free cocoa <3 I LOVED the shower! Both the inlcuded breakfast and the dinner we ordered were super tasty, served beautifully and in large portions, and with great vegetarian options! Last but not least, the owners are super kind, very pleasant and extremely welcoming. Thank you!!

Everything was super charming but the best was the friendliness of the hosts, the superb food and the looks. Very cozy and charming house with great surroundings for hiking. You feel like home and the hosts are such great people and good cooks.
