Perfect stop for our visit to Puy du Fou about 20 min drive away. Hosts are welcoming and a typical french breakfast is plentiful. The house is still very much in theme with the 1914 build, a lovely charm as you are taken back in time.

Lovely accommodation and a warm welcome from Natalie and Patrick. It was so quiet and peaceful with access to the lovely little pool and hot tub! It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but the local town was just a 5 min drive away. We had a lovely meal there one evening. We were 15 mins from Puy Du Fou so it was a perfect location to visit the theme park and easy to get there and back. We would definitely recommend this place for families. There was a garden for the kids to run around in. Natalie and Patrick were so accommodating - Natalie even makes her own bread for you each morning. We hope to return.

Very warm and kind welcome for our family! Cleanliness of room was impeccable. Very good breakfast provided for us. Easy to find and perfect place to stay for travelling by car to Puy du Fou. Excellent communication from hosts.

Frederick was a very friendly welcoming host, despite our language barrier. Our room was scrupulously clean and very creatively decorated. My boys loved sleeping up in the jungle. Soap, towels and bottles of water along with tea and coffee where kindly provided. The breakfast was delicious and there was lots of choice from breads to fruit and even a delicious cake. We were delighted with our stay and the gardens and grounds are beautiful. A little gem of a find and would highly recommend to our family and friends.

Huge breakfast spread! Our children were especially delighted with the array of sweet treats. Family room was cosy with bunk bed and double for parents. Fabienne was really friendly and welcoming. Garden was great for the kids, trampoline, football and space to run. Ideal stopover for Puy de Fou theme park.

The property is situated on the main road of a small village some 10-15 minutes of ride to the famous Puy-de-Fou thematic park (and the closest supermarket, not sure about restaurants). The house is not the walls around, but the warmth inside - and Cherry is probably the greatest hostess we ever met in more than 20 years of our travels. Light, talkative, experienced, attentive and considerate, radiant personality. Our kids fell in love with her immediately - elder ones talked about life, the small one played with toys she found there in abundance. We immediately felt ourselves at home and at ease, and we hope this short stay to be the beginning of a great friendship. Breakfasts were delicious, and picnic basket we took to the park helped us to last to the end of the day. Tip for the guests: don't miss the XI century donjon some 300 meters from the house (follow the arrow). Unforgettable sight on a starry night.

Wonderful house with lovely, charming and clean rooms. Very gentle and helpful host and a fresh breakfast every morning. We really recommend this place to stay, because there is a lot of history to discover in the area and it's nearby 'puy to fou'.
