We were just amazed at just how nice this property was! The couple that runs it is so amazing with all the nice touches. They made room in their garage so we could park our motorcycles out of the weather. The breakfast was hearty and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do. It was a special stay that we will never forget.

Wow! 14 day cycle tour through France, all of it excellent but our stay at Chateau de Bournet was a real highlight. You could not possibly wish for more welcoming and caring hosts. They offered to book a local restaurant for us for dinner, when that was closed they insisted on cooking dinner for us and it was exquisite, including many fresh vegetables and salad from their garden. I believe Catherine was a chef and it showed - a truly delicious meal put together at short notice. Breakfast again was a great start to our day. Bikes were very secure in the conservatory. Edouard was wonderful, gave us a guided tour of this beautiful living history chateau. A true gentleman, clearly having led a distinguished life but easily able to converse with people on any level. Class. Wish we could have stayed longer, very much enjoyed the short time with our hosts.

Pierre is a fantastic host and very helpful. He gives a lot of recommendations for activities and also for restaurant and wine makers. Room is very nice and modern with comfortable beds. Newly build Terrasse and the garden is quiet relaxing.
