The staff were absolutely amazing! Kerry was so friendly and accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for more. The room was comfortable and clean. Ideal for an over night stay to break up a long drive. Everyone in the pub was friendly and welcoming. Well priced drinks and lovely food.

A superb B&B in a rural setting. Our hosts, Jonathan and Mary, could not do more for us. In fact, at their insistence, they washed and ironed a load of our dirty laundry. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, with a choice of cereals, juice, yoghurt and fruit compotes, as well as your choice of a cooked breakfast.

I’ve rarely stayed anywhere so well thought out. Everything worked! Ruth is kind, thoughtful and helpful. I can’t speak highly enough of her. Breakfast was excellent both days I stayed. And if you’re walking Offa’s Dyke, it’s not far from the usual route, and an excellent place for a break.

2nd times here, Debbie is a really nice host and rooms are very clean and tidy, we enjoyed the time here.

We thought it was the best b&b we have stayed in. It was exceptionally clean and we liked the attention to detail that the owner had put into the place. The breakfast was amazing and the choices were excellent. Was also good to see the support for local tradespeople.
