The location was excellent for access to the family and friends I was visiting and the house was comfortable and welcoming. High spec newly refurbished room, tasteful, elegant. Extra touches of bedside charger, real milk in fridge, fun books, nespresso. Best sleep in a week with proper pillows. If you are looking for a generic, square, characterless place to stay then look else where. From the moment we arrived it felt more like visiting old friends - the owners are warm friendly and unbelievably helpful and attentive. Having spoken to them before hand they helped me to plan a surprise weekend away for my wife for our anniversary. The owners recommend a place to eat and made our room extra special with on arrival with rose petals in bath and a bottle of bubble ( very unexpected ) on ice. They even helped with dropping a surprise hamper into our room when we where out. The proper home cooked breakfast and fresh milk in the bedroom for tea and coffee along side quality toiletries make u feel like you are staying in a high end property but with the relaxed nature of a family home.
