Everything was just perfect! The property was unbelievably stunning, the host was extremely helpful and friendly and the vegan breakfast was absolutely delicious! The room was perfectly clean, very comfortable and had everything you would need for a perfect stay!

Just a perfect place for a guy like me! I'm sure anybody would feel right at home here. I had the single room with a balcony and a picturesque seaside view! I started every morning with an incredible breakfast and because of the ideal location was minutes walking distance to any and everything I could possibly need. I highly recommend the Cairn Bay Lodge to everyone who wants to experience Bangor at its best!

The owners were very nice and quite personable. We originally had a rather small room with a nice bathroom. I said something to them and we were moved to a larger room for our second night and stayed a third night because we liked the room so much. Very good continental breakfast.

We loved everything. From the shower to the comfy bed. I truly enjoy the routine of housekeeping and how thoughtful the staff is. If you are travelling with children, Ownies Bar and Bristo appear to be pretty crowded at night, but the sound isolation from the rooms is pretty good. Live music was a plus! Breakfast is offered here, and I was impressed that after a long night, it was perfect in the morning. Delicious breakfast with traditional bread. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner here, and it was fantastic. The location is another bonus: easy parking, seafront, close to the castle (we walked there). It's close to Belfast and not far from the airport with a car. We absolutely want to come back!

I like the large bedroom and the fact that the bathroom was not directly off the bedroom but off the small corridor leading to the bedroom. I also liked the french window opening onto the garden, and the heavy curtains that kept out the light. The bathroom had both a shower cubicle and a separate bathtub, which was nice.

The Old Schoolhouse Inn is located in the County Down countryside, 5 minutes’ drive from Comber. This inn is set in lovely grounds.
