Very warm welcome. Comfortable, clean room. Lovely staff and excellent breakfast. Lots of charming details in the bar/restaurant. Only 5 minutes walk to Godalming train station, so 45 mins to Waterloo. Excellent value for money compared to London hotels

The location is great if you need to do something in Guildford center, make sure to go around the big hill when walking up! The room was great, and the included breakfast has pretty much anything you would need. I've been in big fancy hotels that left a worse experience than staying here!

Gorgeous room with a great view! At the center of the village and with all you need in the pub to eat and drink. The parking was so easy to access and it was free! I have nothing bad to say about this beautiful hotel. The service was excellent and the staff was so friendly. As a bonus they’re being environmentally friendly!

Great location for the venue we were visiting very reasonable price for room and breakfast, clean towels, tea & coffee facilities in room friendly helpful staff, this was our second stay at the Lion and will definitely be rebooking for the same gig next year.

Absolutely beautiful place, staff were so welcoming and friendly 😊 the room was stunning and felt like a home from home. Food was excellent. Would 100% recommend this place.
