Lovely welcome from Michael. Great room, decor is beautiful, comfy bed, spotlessly clean. Fridge in room with Prosecco was a lovely surprise also muffins. We even had a dual control electric blanket. There’s also a fan and extra heater in room if you need either. Shower is great, nice and hot. Lots of choice for breakfast, yoghurt, fruit, malt loaf, croissants, cereal, toast, crumpets and more. Theres also a beautiful lounge to relax in. Michael is such a great host and lovely company. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Such a beautiful location.. I booked the suite with balcony with views over the valley... big bedroom with big comfortable bed. Bathroom with big walk in shower. A cosy sitting room and then that balcony.. wonderful house with history and beautifuly restored . Marion and sue were lovely. Just absolutely perfect. I dinned with take away pizza twice on that balcony. The sun on your face and the view before you is all you need.

The room was spacious, well-equipped and nicely decorated. It was also extremely clean (!) and there was a daily cleaning service. The bed was really comfy and it was very quiet. We especially enjoyed the breakfast which was made to order. The whole team was super friendly. The Bulls Head is located in a quiet village and there is free parking available. If you want to have dinner or a good wine or beer in the evening you can just head down to the restaurant which is also very good. We stayed for six nights and enjoyed our stay a lot. Thanks to the whole team and hope to see you soon again!

The suite we got was fantastically comfortable and cosy. The vegan breakfast was delicious and also plentiful, which is just what you need for a long day exploring the estate. The staff are really friendly but also very professional. The location is very convenient for Chatsworth House (leave your car at the Inn and enjoy a leisurely 45-minute walk through the fields and along the riverbank).
