Lovely room, in a great English Bar with very friendly and helpful staff. Location was absolutely perfect being so close to the Bus Station with busses going to ALL Tourist attractions. Also close to plenty of shops and foods and bars but I didn't need to as the food and drink is great right there.

This is the perfect country pub. It is stylish and clean and the food is excellent, but it is not in the slightest pretentious or ‘gastro’. We ate a delicious dinner, stayed in an extremely comfortable, well decorated and well maintained, family room and ate a hearty, gourmet standard, breakfast featuring local produce. The rate for the room and breakfast was so reasonable it seemed wrong not to be paying more. Best of all, the staff were unusually friendly, welcoming and good with our three, often boisterous, children. They even rang us ahead of our arrival to warn that there was a party being held in the pub the evening of our arrival and letting us know that it might be noisy (which it was not!). I could not recommend this hotel and restaurant more highly.

We had a very pleasant stay. The en-suite room was spotlessly clean and the included breakfast was amazing. The house is located in a qiuiet area near the city centre, with a park next door and incredible gardens in the property. Jonathan and Mellisa were exceptionally kind and made our trip truly special. Caledon house is an outstanding B& B . Beautifully restored and renovated character house with about 8 rooms . We had a room on the top floor with a view of Cowes Harbour ! Everything is top quality and spotlessly clean . A full breakfast is served to your order .Easy Contactless check in and a lock up shed available for bike storage .     Quiet location (even though it is opposite a pay and display car park), within easy walking distance of Newport centre. Private parking at the back. Not many guest rooms, so we felt we received a personalised service from the friendly owners. Very comfy large bed. Clean. Over bath shower had a good pressure and temperature and was very effective, although temperature setting was a bit fiddly to start with as there was no thermostatic valve. Kettle with a range of teas and coffee in the room. Pedestal fan kept us cool on the hot nights.
