Maxine & Phil are incredible hosts. They truly want to give their visitors a wonderful experience making sure they have everything they need and want. Accommodations were clean, bright and comfortable and the breakfast was the best!! The tiki bar outside is a wonderful gathering place and gave us an opportunity to sit and chat with other people as well as with Maxine & Phil while looking out at the the incredible sea view. The whole visit was an excellent experience. Would highly recommend. Thanks Maxine & Phil…we’ll be back. 😊

The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have done more to help us and accommodate. We were on a bike-packing trip and they gave us somewhere secure to store our bikes inside overnight. The food was fantastic and they had a live band who were FABULOUS! Great value drinks and meals - we will be back!!!

As of February 2022 our Car Parking facilities are back in operation. Our car park is limited and is on a first come first served basis.

Wonderful historical hotel. The view across to the Pier and the North Sea was wonderful. Great to open the window and hear the waves crashing against the sea wall. I commend the Staff at the hotel. Like so many hotels and restaurants both in the U.K. and Canada, full staffing is a problem since Covid. The people at this hotel were amazing, many having to cover more than one position. They were so friendly and helpful. Would return to The Red Lion if we ever come that way again.

Nice quiet location in a very small village. Easy access to the Broads and restaurants. Jane and Mark are excellent hosts and were very helpful with ideas of what to do and see in the area. The breakfasts were exceptional. Would stay here again.

Room was very clean and “cosy“. The Staff namely Jade, Melissa, Chloe and landlady Jocelyn were very polite and friendly and the food, which consisted for us of an evening mail and a full English breakfast the following morning, was very tasty too. Highly recommended 👍😊
