The place is absolutely wonderful, very close to the centre. It has a great atmosphere. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, we felt like at home. The breakfasts were also fantastic. We enjoyed the stay enormously.

We stopped there for the night. Very nice restaurant, quite generous portions and very serviceable staff. The hotel is brilliant. We had a superb room,very nicely decorated, excellent bed, very quiet we slept quite well. Here again, the staff was very nice and helpful.

Great experience! People are really friendly and helpful. Garden and the house is studding! It’s great to wake up in such nice peaceful and quiet place. It’s very historical building and equipment is a bit old, but this is at great value for money price. I will never forget the good experience I had in Ushaw.

Great accommodation above a bar! The room was quite lovely, with a nice view out of the window and nice decorations inside the room. The welcoming sweets in the room were a nice touch. All amenities in the room was good. I could not ask for a better location. Felt very safe in the area. It is right in the area with restaurants, cafes, and shops. Walking distance from the train station as well. I would certainly stay here again on my next visit.
