    We stayed for one night after getting off a late ferry arriving at Portsmouth. We found this to be a lovely pub in a very beautiful part of the country. The staff were very welcoming, we had a lovely meal on arrival, a very nice comfortable and quiet bedroom. The cooked breakfast before departure was also spot on. There was a lovely beer garden and beautiful hanging baskets in abundance We would definitely stay here again

    Friendly welcome, great location, clean and tidy room, very quiet for a good night's sleep. Food in the pub was excellent. I had to leave early, before breakfast started, so I was very kindly provided with a packed lunch instead.

    Lovely location next to a quiet village pub. Pub had lovely staff and great ambience. We enjoyed our drinks and meal there on the first night. Bed was very comfortable.
