The hotel was the perfect choice for me. The staff was so friendly and always helpful, the food was of a very high quality and delicious. The room was cosy and I felt absolutely comfortable and slept very well. Everything was very tidy and clean. Will definitely come back during my next stay in the Highlands.

The last hotel on the A9, The Ferry Inn at Scrabster is newly renovated and has wonderful sea views. Just north of Thurso, Scrabster Harbour is the gateway to the Orkney Islands.

Friendly, respectful and helpful staff member She upgraded my room and wow! The larger room was spacious and luxurious. Breakfast table beautifully presented Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the decor was dignified. The mattress was firm - brilliant. Tea and coffee in the room with a few chocolates was a nice touch Easy to find and great location with off street parking

We had an amazing stay at Hawthorns b&b. The hosts made us and our dogs feel super welcome. They gave us a lot of tips for sightseeing and made nice conversation. The room, bed, and shower were very good as well. We had a beautiful view of the fields from our room, and in the morning, we had a great homemade breakfast. We would definitely come back! Thank you for a lovely stay!

We loved our brief stay at Burnside cottage. Close to the ferry at Gills Bay for the next morning. Kacey was so welcoming & the food amongst the best we sampled throughout our stay in Scotland! Even when my daughter left her favourite toy behind, Kacey posted it on to us! Thoughtful & great customer service.
