It was a great room and total value for money. It was bright clean and airy with a nice view of the street and we loved the set up for Teas and coffees and breakfast the next day. The staff were so friendly nothing was too much trouble and our evening meal was really nice and again exceptional value for money. We were walking Hadrian's Wall trail and Wylam is literally a short walk from it. They were brilliant with our baggage, accommodating the luggage transfer and even putting it in the room before arrival.

I have had the fortune to be a guest with David and Mark previously. It is always a pleasure and exceeded my expectations in all ways. They are fabulous hosts, and iI am saddened a little more to leave every time. The house is a treasure trove of sights it is exquisite and exactly what is needed for a little but of a country escape near the city. I look forward to staying with them again as always.

The location was perfect for where i was going My room was immaculate and each room has it’s own fridge which is brilliant I went with friends who stayed in another equally immaculate room and we found the communal kitchen with facilities to share takeaway together/chat after night out brilliant It’s a ten from Len 😃
