Loved this hotel! First off, the reception staff were super friendly and gave a great recommendation for where to eat. The cook at breakfast was also very nice. The rooms are beautiful. An extra treat that I didn’t know of when booking was the dining area/wine cellar. They look so cool and give the building a great sense of history. There’s also a nice courtyard where one can sit. An extra perk was the blankets placed on the chairs, since it was a bit chilly at night. The breakfast was great, tbh a lot better than my previous hotel - more fruit was available, and as a vegetarian it was great to see something other than cold cuts (the cook will make you eggs). The bread was also delicious. The location was fantastic as well - very short walk to the old centre, where one can climb the fire tower, see the Roman/medieval walls, visit the medieval synagogue.

Nicely designed rooms on the third floor of a beautifully renovated building. Walking distance from the train station and also from the old Town. Professional and helpful staff at reception. The communication with the host before our arrival was excellent. Upon arrival, we were greeted and received in a charming and friendly manner. Super nice host! The breakfast is great and the nearby town of Sopron is very cool to visit (highly recommend the Roman ruins and the town wall). Everything was clean and tidy and the host nice to give us some washing machine soap for us to use to do a batch of laundry. We’ll stay again if we come through this area.
