B&Bs in Cherai Beach

Thank you very much for your hospitality! I greatly enjoyed the friendly and helpful atmosphere of the accommodation. The beautiful room was truly spacious and clean, especially the upstairs terrace was pleasant. The refreshing swimming pool was nice. And the Keralan dishes served were delicious and filling. I recommend this accommodation to anyone arriving on Vypin island looking for a peaceful environment to relax and enjoy their vacation!

It is not a stay. It's an experience that one will go through. Nice and warm welcoming host who takes care of you like a family. Very close to Cherai Beach and hence very advantageous. I would definitely recommend the place

What else can we say ? It was perfect... The room was amazing and Stains and his wife and daughter were so friendly... Very thoughtful in every detail. We felt like we were at home. The breakfast was excellent. Various and tasty. Thank you again for everything! The nearest beaches are 20 min walk away. The area is just so lovely to walk around.

Clean big room ..its beach front all time breeze gets inside room.Well take cared and good mannered staff.I would definitely love to stay here again on our next back trip. We can enjoy the sea very close..with nice light breeze that make fall asleep ..loved it.

We spent a total of four nights at Dove Cottage. We extended our stay after three nights because we loved it so much. Right at the beginning we can say that if you are looking for accommodation in Cherai Beach, look no further, choose this one because it is just so incredibly good. We were greeted warmly, even though we forgot to let them know that we were arriving early. While we were waiting for our room to be ready, we were given a small snack and were able to freshen up in another room. In addition to our stay, our host Manuvel made sure that we were provided with a scooter for a very fair price. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and very, very tasty. It was a different Indian breakfast every day, which was served warm as soon as we came out of the room. We could choose between coffee or tea, both of which were excellent. Our stay was made so pleasant by Manuvel and his family that we are incredibly grateful to have stayed here. They were so nice, gave us so much information and helped us with everything we needed. They brought us fruit shakes during the day, helped us with our laundry, took us to the tailor and of course, as already mentioned, organised the scooter. It couldn't have been better. The whole family were always attentive and helped immediately, but were never intrusive or restrictive. The rooms were extremely clean and are very modern and newly furnished. Of all the six accommodations we had here in Kerala, it was the best and not even the most expensive. Apart from that, we found the location very good. The restaurants (e.g. Chillout Café, Liliput) are a bit away but it is quite quiet and nothing disturbs you at Dove Cottage. Highly recommended and maybe we'll see each other again in Germany :)

A Wonderful place to stay ! Micky and Mahesh make you feel at home! Warm, welcoming, smiling, helpful and wonderful breakfasts ! I really fell in love with this tastefully decorated guesthouse. A magnificent bedroom in a small suite style with a dressing area and a private terrace. Located right in front of the beach. I couldn't have dreamed of a better last stop before taking my return flight. Micky has lots of ideas on activities to do nearby and will advise you according to your wishes. For my part, I had an excellent day at the Sea Lagoon which offers an exceptional day package with swimming pool-beach and meals and drinks included. You will also have the opportunity to do yoga sessions in another location very close to Majo at a friend's Micky place. And Mahesh will accompany you on your trips in his tuktuk. Don't hesitate !

We had just come from 20 days of Panchakarma, and the owners and staff accomodated our every desire regarding our meals, to the point of chosing the spices we wanted, and how our dishes should be prepared. They hava a vegetable garden and would tell us what veggies had been picked that day, and how we would like them to be prepared. There is an authentic giving attitude in all they do to make you happy. The spot on the beach is the best we saw, with a wide portion of sand, and beach lounges and parasols for the guests. The pool area is wonderful, surrounded by palm trees and flowers. The owners and the staff went well beyond what one normally expects staying in a hotel. Generous, respectful od our privacy, kind, and good natured. We only got smiles and perfect service. We walked up and down the beach, and couldn't find a better place.

We booked a last minute stay on New Year’s Eve and it was easily one of the best accomodation we had in a month in India! We were in the Iris cottage. Very very clean, colourful design features, a comfortable a nice supportive mattress, streaming services, excellent AC and a charming garden with koi fish! The owner allowed us to check in early and held our bags for us after check out while we went for a final swim. (We recommend Chilli Out Cafe for food when you’re on the beach) The location isn’t on the beach but it was an easy 20 minute walk when it cooled down or a cheap 50IRP tuk tuk with heaps available and meant it wasn’t as loud or crowded - even on NYE.
