Everything was perfect there! Absolutely lovely Polish staff, delicious breakfasts, stunning view on the ocean and the glacier. Room was clean and cozy. In the building was a lounge with armchairs and the coffee machine. And we have seen the northern lights from there! It's also very close to Jokursarlon and Diamond Beach. Definitely, we're planning to come back!

The first thing that made us very happy was that we were able to charge the car here. Furthermore, the room is perfect and we had an amazing overview of the area + stars and aurora at nighttime. Everything you need is in the room

We booked a double room with a shared bathroom. The room was very clean and functional. The beds were quite comfortable. Again, we arrived late, but the host was very accommodating and was available for a late check-in. The shared bathroom was very spacious and also clean. The breakfast was consistent: cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, veggies, fruits, yogurt , cereals, milk, coffee, and tea plus an array of breads. We really enjoyed our stay.

Located on an old farm, Guesthouse Stekkatún is 600 metres from Vatnajökull National Park. It offers free parking and basic rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Thorbergssetur Museum is 25 km away.
