The room was great all around. The view was exceptional, looking out at the lagoon and down the fjord. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and relaxing, taking it all in. Very clean, actually spotless. The bed was very comfortable and i had an excellent night sleep. It is right in the heart of town and everything was in walking distance.

Beautiful room with a warm atmosphere. There was a water shut down in town. The staff were immediately there for us and the whole episode was sorted out within less than an hour

A very affordable, well located guesthouse. Although the rooms are simply furnished, all main needed are provided. Hot water is great, heating is good and beds are comfortable. There is a shared kitchen which is ideal for do it yourself breakfast. Also, they have an EV charging unit right out near the front door and you can get a good overnight charge for your car.

The house is right outside the town of Egilsstadir, very easy to find. We were met by a very friendly owner and his two lovely dogs. He was extremely helpful and the house was truly a gem! Decorated with old-style furniture, but very cosy, clean and it has a hot tub outside with an amazing view! We wish we could have stayed longer and can definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to spend time at East Iceland!

Very well equipped hostel (washing machine,dryer,coffee machine with coffee 😍). Rooms small (but we were 5) but cosy! There are 2 bathrooms but we were never waiting to use one. The owners even invited us to the pool next door to make up for the lack of more showers. They just opened and really try to make everything perfect. We met the host- she was super nice. If it wouldn’t be so far away from us we would definitely come back. Keep going- you are doing a great job 🫶🏻
