Mariana is an excelent host, she waited for our late arrival without problems. The room is confortable and she offered not only an excelent breakfast the following morning, after we arrived we had a cup of tea, and offered cake, juice, etc. Very warm. Thank you, see you the next time we visit Calabria.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by our incredible host—always smiling, thoughtful, and truly dedicated to making guests feel at home. Every detail of our stay was infused with care and love, making this one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had. The breakfast was nothing short of extraordinary. Each morning we were woken by the smell of freshly baked croissants and treated to an abundant spread that could rival a five-star hotel: homemade fruit tarts, cake and bread, a fresh platter of homemade bacon and sausages, tomatoes, cheese, fluffy omelettes, fresh fruit, juice, and tea and coffee. Everything was crafted with passion, and you could taste the love in every bite. The accommodation itself was equally impressive—classy, elegant, and furnished with timeless antiques that added a touch of old-world charm. The terrace was beautiful and perfect for relaxing, and the room had air-conditioning. Everything was impeccably clean, tidy, and well-organised, down to the sheets and towels trimmed delicately with lace. What truly stood out was the host's attention to every possible detail—from the aesthetics to the atmosphere, nothing was overlooked. He also went out of his way to suggest wonderful places to visit and dine, helping us discover the hidden gems of Civita and its surroundings. Staying here felt like receiving a big, warm hug from Civita itself. It was not just a place to sleep, but a soulful, heartwarming experience that we will never forget. Five stars are simply not enough for the effort, generosity, and hospitality we received. Highly, highly recommended.. Antonella's apartment was lovely. Its in a beautiful, quiet location at the top of the village with incredible views. Antonella was super helpful with restaurant recommendations and other info on the village. Civita has a handful of good restaurants and the delicatessen Carlomagno is amazing. We really liked Agora restaurant for the atmosphere, local food and great value. We were cycling most days.We were not so lucky with the weather but the scenery was stunning. We got great advice on the Pollino national park from Manuella at the visitor centre Catasta- which also does great food.Would definitely recommend a visit there. The cycling options are good- especially for gravel bikes. They are also just finishing a bike path cycle route that will be a good addition. Hopefully it'll be done for when we come back!

Lovely classic little bed and breakfast located in the heart of Civita. Lovely spacious room with a balcony. Very clean bedroom and bathroom. Traditional breakfast supplied which has loads to choose from. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

We loved everything about this beautiful accommodation and the host Mara, it was luxury with some much care given to its guests, the hospitality was outstanding, the food even more so, the breakfast was fit for a King and Queen and we were made to feel like one. There was parking for the car, the town was beautiful friendly with historical walks close by, we dined in a local restaurant and had an amazing meal and exceptional bottle of wine ( restaurant was called Kamastra)
