Pietro was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful. However the highlight was the wonderful meal he cooked. It was outstanding. The rooms themselves are pretty rustic but comfortable.

A beautiful room located very conveniently situated in the centre of sulmona. The building was stunning and the room was very modern with a/c and smart tv, fridge/freezer. Tea/coffee facilities and a lovely chocolate tart upon arrival . The host was very accommodating as we arrived early with bags so we could drop and explore the beautiful town . Would highly recommend 👌

The place is very well located in downtown Sulmona. A typical construction with stone walls, clean and comfortable. The owner of the B&B was very nice and friendly at my arrival and gave me good advices about spots to visit near Sulmona. I’m very happy with my stay at “Il Viandante”.

Great location and hotel. Owners are hands on, very organized and helpful. They issued a ZTL permit, gave great arrival and parking information, met us at the hotel and showed me where to park after unloading. This made the stay very easy.
