Staying at this 70 years old Japanese house really made me feel like I was in Studio Ghibli movies or Japanese anime. It was awesome! Located in the countryside and even has a view of Mount Fuji making it the perfect combo. The architecture, homewares/furniture and surroundings perfectly convey the experience of being part of a Japanese family. Rooms with futons (traditional Japanese beds) and tatami (straw mat) floors, kitchens with traditional style utensils, toilets, all are in Japanese style. They also rent you kimono and yukata for free which gives you an almost real experience of being a local. The tap water even comes from Mount Fuji which allows you to drink it directly and safely. Everything is neat and clean. The owner is also very friendly, kind and polite. This guesthouse is 1000000/10. For those of you who plan to see Mount Fuji in the Fujikawaguchiko area, I highly recommend you this guesthouse. You won't be disappointed I promise. It only takes 5 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko Station. It was sad leaving there because I never ever in loved with a guesthouse/hostel etc so much before. I hope I can get another chance to stay there.

Taka is so nice. The camper is a dream! No bathroom but is really close from the camper. It's a little bit far away from the lake but you have bikes for free and taka offer you tours around. A little bit expensive but definitely worth it. The garden is so beautiful too!!

Very friendly staff and very warm welcome upon arrival. Tea and coffee available for free at the reception. Cosy room with comfy beds and nice Fuji Mountain view from the window. 7eleven just in front of the house, family market across the street and good restaurants and lake in very close proximity. Bike rental available (we did not make use of) and good access to hiking trials, lake side just across the street 250 m walking distance. Bus stop in 5 min walking distance to go to Kofu or Shimoyoshida. Would come back any time !☺️
