    Located in a lovely quiet village. There is a shared kitchen (not many restaurants nearby) and living room. Tatami mats covering the floors. Even a small courtyard garden. The owner is around a lot but doesn’t live there so it is just courteous to give him as accurate an arrival time as possible. It is 10-15 minutes walk from Kashiwabara station. The room was small but comfortable. A very nice place to stay.

    Booked a room with private bathroom; but the room only had a private toilet which completely upset my plans. Staff argued so I contacted customer service and staff provided 30% refund. Room was shabby, old fashioned without traditional charm. Padlocks for doors; lumpy pillow made of beans... this is not a nice place or feeling. The village has almost no facilities whatsoever.

    Very quiet guest house, with a well stocked kitchen and several sitting areas. Lovely little town with very friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend to stay here.
