The hosts are a very lovely elderly couple who hosted us with great warmth and hospitality. We felt so at home, even though if we communicated via the Google Translator (this is totally viable)! The room is very cozy and has a magnificent view on the Tama River down below. We definitely recommend to take the breakfast option: it is a traditional Japanese breakfast prepared by the hosts, it was very delicious. They have two cute cats, which visit while you eat. We regret staying only for two days!

The area is stunning. There are challenging and spectacular hiking trails all around. The staff is super friendly, even to those who don't speak Japanese :) Delicious breakfasts made from organic vegetables grown in the garden.

We had a comfortable stay at Easy Stay Chichibu. The location is very convenient and is in walkable distance to the Chichibu Shrine, Hitsujiyama Park and restaurants. The rooms are neat and clean. The washrooms were nice and came with all the necessary toiletries. The host were hospitable. The Hotel had Car Parking and it can be reserved for a nominal fee. Though the breakfast options are not available at the hotel, there is a nice coffee shop and a Pastry shop in the hotel building. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would visit again in the future.
