I'm so glad we snagged a room months before our trip! Directly in front of the guesthouse is Mt. Fuji. The location is so peaceful, the complete opposite of the busy cities we've visited like Tokyo. The guesthouse felt like home, especially as the kitchen was so equipped and with so many tokens from previous guests. We appreciated the stack of tourist guides on the dining room table as it felt like we had our own tourist info center there! The owner, Daizen, was kind enough to help us dry our items in the living room post-accident. He was responsive to inquiries. The room was warm and comfy, and had a small machine we can use to warm up our beds.

I love everything in the hotel. The hostel owner is extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation is great as well. The mattress is soft and the blanket is fluffy. It provides great sleep for the stay. The hosIt provides free breakfast with breads and yogurt.

EVERYTHING! We spent 3 weeks in Japan and this was honestly the best place we stayed. Our host was unbelievable, made us feel extremely welcome and he made us spent a unique time listening live music and having a nice drink. This 400 year old guest house is pure Japanese charm, tradition and hospitality. We were welcomed so warmly, and treated to a history lesson with the artefacts and story of the pilgrim resting place. Sure it’s basic, with walls of paper and futon beds. But very special and memorable.

This is a wonder place in an amazing location They may have limited English but the owners a warm and friendly and do a great job of making you feel at home. The cars are awesome too.

Location is perfect. Could see Fuji-san from room's window. Could walk to Lawson, 7-11. Near a famous restaurant. There is car park. Got onsen as well.
