Honami-Kaido is definitely not your typical guesthouse. Yoshiro san is the kindest host and has mastered the art of hospitality for sure! I have never met someone so dedicated. The warmest place we’ve stayed! Staff were really nice and everything was tidy. The room was warmed for us when we arrived and when we returned after skiing it was easy to rewarm the room!

It was my first time in Kusatsu and I am really happy that I chose the Buna Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I love its modern side while still keeping a very traditional Japanese atmosphere.
