Great resort, walk 1 min to the perfect white sand beach. The room is comfortable and with a big washroom. The staffs are warm and helpful, and the restaurant of resort near the swimming pool, and with good food and reasonable price. BTW, very easy to get a car by Bolt

Tombo House is an incredible hidden gem in Diani Beach, Mombasa, that ticked all the boxes for me. I wanted to reconnect with nature, switch off from my devices, relax, eat good food and enjoy the tropical weather that Mombasa had to offer. Tombo House was the perfect hideaway to do that. Its grounds are incredibly well looked after, and the gardens were absolutely stunning to walk around, all well-maintained and beautiful. The room itself (Deluxe double with a balcony) exceeded my expectations - it was extremely clean, well decorated and was very calming to stay there. The bathroom was clean, as was the bedroom and hallway, and the balcony had the most incredibly mountain view with lots of trees and monkeys that came to say hello in the early morning or early evening. I was pleased that the room had mosquito nets on the windows, which meant I could fall asleep to the birds and crickets at night without getting eaten alive by the mozzies. It was also really relaxing to have the windows open when it lashed down with tropical rain! I really loved the breakfast, too. I enjoyed waking up early to enjoy a selection of fresh fruits, delicious German sweet bread (and all the condiments and jams), and the two ladies who made me delicious eggs and bacon every morning. I also loved the morning playlist in the dining area, although it did feel like groundhog day sometimes because I kept hearing the same song every day (John Mayer) but I didn't mind, it was very relaxing and I loved the songs. Great music taste by the way. I LOVED the garden with the gorgeous pool and sun beds, and the staff were incredibly helpful with everything. Thank you Nora, your partner as well for his friendliness, Eunice is the best, as is Vanessa, the two men maintaining the garden were friendly, as were the security team. Kira and the other pooch!!! I felt very safe travelling alone here and it's all thanks to you guys. Thank you. Will definitely come back again! P.S.

I was fortunate to stay week at Asha’s and so very pleased with my stay. Firstly the location is perfect, located on the beach front fantastic for beach access, morning sunrises. Also close proximity to restaurants or short tuk tuk journey to others further away. The apartment room located at the rear of the property and upstairs with a balcony overlooking the garden, very private and peaceful listening to the frogs at night and watching the monkeys by day. The room is beautiful, great size, clean and lovely furnished, with turn down service provided each evening. The Asha team were so very friendly, helpful and professional, from front of house as well we back of house staff, they are all so warm and welcoming. Great size pool for guests with ample lounges to relax and enjoy during your stay. Restaurant provides a huge and delicious breakfast with large selection to chose from. Other meals are delicious and offer beach front seating with perfect views. Being a small boutique style accommodation with only 7 rooms, this provides a warm stay and you feel like family when you stay, much better than larger style properties. Highly recommended.

The villa is even more beautiful, than it is on the photos! The rooms are very comfortable, with everything you need. The staff is amazing. They are near, when you need something, ready to make a wonderful coffee or pour some vine. The food is excellent. And you can choose the menu. The villa is very quiet, relaxing place, with wonderful locations for photos! The beach near the villa is the best. White soft sand, warm water and striking views!

We had the best time in Hilda and Guido’s house !We felt like home since arrival ! The place is extremely clean and it was being cleaned daily! Like having a private villa with our own pool ! Hilda’s breakfast was delicious !!! The beach is 5 minutes walking and all the best restaurants are very close too! Totally recommended and hopefully we will stay here again !

Me and my family spend few days in Upani and we liked it very much. Our cttage was very comfortable, equipped in everything we needed and it had spacious, private terrace. The property has nice and big swimming pool. Location is good - short tuk tuk ride from a beach (or walking distance if you're not afraid of walking about 1km). The staff is nice and helpful and available pretty much round the clock (we were leaving at 5am and it wasn't an issue - someone was available to open the gate etc.). I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Diani.

Everything: Super comfortable, clean and very well equipped accommodation in a beautiful villa, everything is like in the pictures. Hilda was a super nice host and always prepared a very delicious breakfast. The location is perfect, quiet but still close to the beachfront, with a private pool surrounded by a beautiful garden. They are also happy to provide information about scuba diving, local programs and restaurants. Hilda’s homestay was very unique and quiet, totally recommended instead of a hotel.

Great location just off the beach. Generous and good breakfast ….. restaurant has a pool sea view. The staff were always so cheerful and happy to help. For us it was perfect and loved how our room had its own veranda and looked out onto the gardens ….. lots of peace and quiet too! Comfortable bed, good storage for clothes and suitcases. Always spotlessly clean.

Perfect spot for a holiday trip, especially for those looking for privacy, peace and quiet. Great location, far from the town, private entrance to the beach, which is one of the most beautiful in whole Diani. Delicious breakfast, great personnel. WiFi 10/10 - super wide range and access in the whole property, nevertheless if your spending time at your bungalow, restaurant, pool or the beach. Piece of paradise in this world.
