It is an easy self check-in process with Mr. Kim sending you a message with the hostel password, and the room key is inside. The dorm is small but clean and airy with 2 small windows, one of which has a mosquito net so you can leave it open when the AC isn't on. Shower pressure was excellent. Beware, it's Korean style shower, so not a real shower cabin. There was only one other traveller in the dorm, she was very nice and we slept very well! It was so so quiet! It is conveniently located 30 seconds away from Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal (속초시의 버스 터미날) Very homey and quiet place, I loved it. Mr Kim was also very nice and has a calming and reassuring voice :) I'll stay there again if I ever come back to Sokcho!

This is a very well-run family hotel with comfortable rooms. The Manager is very friendly and helpful and speaks fluent English. We had really great stay and the manager gave us a map of the national park and helped us plan our itinerary on arrival. The hotel is located close to the park (approximately a 40 mins walk or a 5 mins taxi). We found it really easy to book a taxi to and from the park using the Kakao taxi app. We also were able to book taxis to a variety of restaurants near by.

Perfect stay here! Great location, clean, provided free water, toiletries, and best of all it’s quiet. Ppl here are friendly. Host was very helpful, thanks for helping to arrange an early morning taxi ride for me to visit Seoraksan National park.

It was only a short visit for me as I was visiting the national park (great location to do so) the owner was so helpful and gave me step by step how to get there. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and had all the necessary facilities in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a quiet relaxing get away and had everything you need. The owner even went above and beyond - I had to get a bus early the next morning back to Seoul and the owner kindly drove me to the station. Highly reccomend staying here! Overall great experience

This is a great little place. Really comfy and private bed in dorm. Great communal breakfast area. Host is so lovely and makes breakfast sandwiches. Near to bus stop to get around Sokcho. Quiet and clean.

Fantastic hostel. We stayed in a private room which was quiet, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The hostel itself is located exactly where you want to be when exploring the city by foot, as well as being very near bus stops to get to the national park - the main bus stop to get to Seoul is also in walking distance. James, the hostels manager, is incredibly helpful and happy to give lots of local recommendations.
