Everything about Local Guesthouse was rather good! Tom and Alex are exceptional, they organized many tours for us including scooter rental, tubing, hot air balloon, and train tickets! The price of those services was reasonable. The room was basic but perfect for what we needed. Breakfast contains nice fresh fruits, breads and a choice of eggs etc. The location was perfect, walking distance to anywhere in the town!

Great hostel, perfect location just a walk away from everything and the hostel is happy enough to book you anything you need (hot air balloon, buses etc), we had an amazing time and felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Thanks to peter for being so lovely and accommodating, the hardest worker & so friendly and welcoming!

It was my first time booking a homestay in this area and it was such a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the Wi-Fi strong. At night, I sat in the yard listening to crickets and watching the stars — something you can’t find in the city. The host even offered me hot tea, which was so thoughtful. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Lovely room in a lovely, quiet guesthouse run by lovely people. Room was big and comfortable.. with large bathroom. Free tea and coffee available all day. Good breakfast choice. Cheap and efficient laundry service. Great location in the very heart of Vang Vieng.
