We loved everything about this place. The view is unreal and Vihanga is the perfect host - we cannot rate it highly enough. Vihanga was super attentive throughout our stay, he be helped to organise tuk tuks into town, provided a laundry service and gave directions for our treks.

Lush in Ella is a brand new venue and a true hidden gem in the middle of the jungle. Yet it is very close to the center of the town. The owner Saman and her husband made us feel very special, especially pampering us with delicious homemade breakfasts. The room, bathroom, and balcony are very clean, the Internet works well, The washroom is spacious.

AMAZING !!! Best view in Sri Lanka , sit back relax, enjoying your breakfast or dinner overlooking Ella Rock, litte Adams peak and a waterfall perfect !!! Staff all wonderful and friendly, just a short stroll or a tuk tuk ride down into town. Came for one nite stayed 3. Will definitely come back to Ambiente guest house.

Everything was perfect about our stay! The rooms very huge, clean, bright, they had everything you needed (AC, fan, net, mini fridge) the bathroom was also very nice and clean and the view was amazing!! We also loved the location, its around 30 min on scooter (the owner helped us with renting a scooter) to Ella, which we did not mind as we hate loud and touristic places like Ella. This place was thus perfect for us to relax and unwind and hide from all the tourism and commercialization. The breakfast were perfect, so so delicious and fresh!! And the owner and the boys were all very kind, helpful and nice. They even made us dinner one day and booked a tuktuk for us on last day as we needed to catch early train to Kandy. Overall it was perfect stay and I would recommend it to everyone!

I love this hotel! It’s very stylish, comfy and clean! On balcony you can chill, drink tea and sea a wild life around you: squirrels, monkeys, birds. Is very quiet and piece full place! Breakfast was very local homemade and delicious! Totally will recommend it!

Perfect location in a quiet street - close to the bus stop, a few minutes walk from the centre, near the trailheads of 9 arch bridge and Little Adam’s Peak (perfect especially for a sunrise hike). The Fantastic caretaker makes sure the guests feel welcome and is ready to help with anything! He Also prepares delicious local breakfast with fresh fruits. The property is clean and has a lovely balkony.

This was the best accomadation I have had during my time in Sri Lanka. The host and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful. But the highlight of this place is the view! Waking up in the morning and looking at the jungle is amazing. Breakfast will be served on the own balcony, with the same nice view. The bathroom is also very big and clean. Compared to other accomadations in Ella, this is high above the standard.

    Inmeshed in nature, the view from the room's terraces and common areas is beautiful. The B&B is just a short stroll to the city center and Ella train station, but at the same time very peaceful and quiet. I appreciated recieving a tea upon my arrival and also having free bottled water, a kettle and tea bags in the room. My room had a fan and a mosquito net and I did not need an AC, as Ella and Sri Lanka's hillside is cooler and fresher than other parts of the country. I enjoyed having a little private terrace, with jungle views.

    nice host surely there would be a charming view, unfortunately there was heavy fog during our stay you could hear music and parties in the city center but it was quiet in the hotel :))

    Quiet, atmospheric location 10 mins walk from Ella main street. Our cottage was private, surrounded by forest and very comfortable.Excellent breakfast.The Lion, a small eatery, 5 mins down Waterfall road was an excellent place for supper.
