Very nice facilities, nice room with a good air condition, WiFi working good, and location was in a nice quiet area in a walking distance from the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us with scooter rental and tour arrangements for a very reasonable price.

Excellent location only a short walk from the beach. Quiet and calm atmosphere. Very kind and helpful host family. Delicious food. Brandnew appartements. Good value for this price. We especially liked the authentic atmosphere of Nilaveli Beach rooms, far away from the touristic resort and hotel area further south on the beach. We even stayed a couple of days longer as we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the good food and the kind owners. And the beach is of course beautiful as well. Cows walking along the beach included. Wonderful place in Sri Lanka.

We had a lovely & relaxing stay in the Nilaveli Cabanas. It's a beautiful place right at the beach in the calmer area of Nilaveli. With only three cabanas, it is super peaceful and perfect to deconnect! Amal is a very helpful host! He arranged us scooters, a trip to pigeon island (which was amazing) and a dolfin watching tour! He also cooked us an amazing seafood barbecue diner and arranged a table on the beach with a great view on the sea. What more can we wish for... We can really recommend to stay here! Thank you for the hospitality, Amal!

Our four-night stay at Jey’s Place was absolutely perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Jistin and Prasanth, who went out of their way to make our stay truly memorable. Jistin is an excellent cook who prepared delicious and refined traditional meals (lunches and dinners) using fresh, local ingredients — many of which came directly from their own garden. We also greatly enjoyed talking with him, and he even taught us how to make his delicious coconut pancakes. The garden is beautiful and perfectly maintained, and the rooms are cool, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We also had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Jey, the owner — a truly kind and welcoming man. We will definitely return to Jey’s Place on a future trip to Sri Lanka.

I do enjoy local Food. Il was very tasty for the morning breakfast, nicely serve, service was freindly and was gladly helfull. Thé surounding was always clean. Thé room was big a d very confortable, super clean and everithing was welcoming.

We had an amazing time at the beach lovers, and stayed even longer than initially planned. Perfect location directly on the beach which was great for swimming end of July beginning of August, and very clean. Great food, especially breakfast which was included in the price and I especially loved having a bar just there and having all those amazing fruit juices and lassis while lazing around on the beach. There was a bunch of guys working there, and they were all awesome and pretty fun! Darren made for us packed breakfast before we left for our whale watching tour as early as 6 am and even on the day we left! We also had an amazing massage there!!! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and we would definitely come back again!

    The location in Nilaveli is perfect. The beach is 5 minutes walking. It's a very quiet area, perfect to relax. The home stay has a good vibes atmosphere, with a garden with "hamacas", and full day open kitchen. The staff was nice and friendly. The room was very cheap and it has all the basic things you may need. I arrived very early and they stored my luggage, also in the departure day.

    Nice laid-back guesthouse with rooms looking onto a private garden. The location is great, very quiet and only a 2 minutes walk to Nilaveli beach. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed but we could still have breakfast there. There are a few other very good restaurants within walking distance. We had a very relaxing stay there!
