I recently stayed at The Colombo House and had a great experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and located conveniently. What truly made my stay memorable was the kind uncle who was working there. He was incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed, and made me feel very welcome throughout my stay. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a warm and hassle-free stay in Colombo!

The overall experience of staying at Mr Bawa’s Home was just exceptional. The house, its design and history are beautiful. Loved our stay in this beautiful house. TJ and his staff were fantastic and made stay here very comfortable. TJ was a mine of very interesting information on Colombo and the history of this house. We were fortunate enough to stay when the house was used for wedding photography which gave us an unique insight to Sri Lankan weddings. We were served Sri Lankan breakfasts by Dilshan who explained all the dishes to us and don’t forget to take a dip in the pool.

Very central to the hustle and bustle of Colombo, however a great escape from it once you’re done exploring the busy city. Beautiful minimal setting with soul. We loved our stay in this hotel as it is located in a quieter and greener area which is nice in a loud and hectic city like Colombo. The owner and staff were super friendly and kind and went out of their way to help us. The beds were super comfy and the room spacious and overall the vibe was just relaxed and welcoming ☺️

    Peaceful atmosphere. Exceptionally clean. Travelling around was easy. Tuk tuks readily available and rates reasonable. Shops & restaurants close by. Sashi (the man Friday) very friendly & helpful. He keeps the apartment very clean. Had a wholesome breakfast which was full, tasty & comparitively cheap! Very happy with our stay! ❤️

    Nice big rooms with great hosts and cute puppy dogs. Very clean, quiet, and chilled atmosphere. The welcoming hosts, Sam and Steff, will take care of you extremely well. They cooked for us, we drank some beer together, put an extra bed for my brother in the room and will show you around the city, if you like.
