My husband stayed here on New Year's Eve. The front desk man called a few times, speaking very good English, to help him find the hotel. The front desk man was very kind and helpful. The room was small and clean and the hotel was located in a safe area. The price was very reasonable and he got good value. As a disclaimer, I didn't see the hotel, only heard about it through my husband and spoke with the front desk person.

We were treated like royalty by Yvonne, Iggy, Sandra, Elli, Flora and Vladimir, and felt like friends, not customers. The view was superb. We were mesmerized with the sight and sound of the ocean surf. Our room was spacious and modern, the king-sized bed very comfortable; there was just the right amount of attractive furniture. Air conditioning if wanted, or well-fitted screen doors and windows with a constant breeze if preferred (no mosquitos anyway). The salt water pool was big enough and always warm, with no hours of closure. The shared balcony was more like a porch, with lots of room and patio furniture. The poolside, bar and restaurant were attractive, with more lovely views. The food was excellent, (the best thin-crust pizzas!) tasty and nicely presented, and they offered us off-menu items with advanced notice, like the best tamales I've ever had. There was unlimited free filtered drinking water. We were so happy we never even went to the swimming beach, just glimpsed it on on a little tour around the village. If you want a quiet, romantic place to stay away from it all, this is it!

The Villa is a lovely Mexican style quaint rooming house .I have stayed 4 times now and it gets better every time . I really enjoy the pool after a walk back from the beach . Mirabel and Irene are amazing hosts who make sure the rooms are inviting and comfortable . I am looking forward to my next visit in 2025 already 😎

Bright, clean and spacious rooms. Very effective a/c system was a valued relief from the heat outside. Good location in the centre of town with easy access to shops and restaurants. A short 5 minute bus journey to the beaches. Beautiful friendly cats in the florist below!
