This was our favourite place we have stayed in so far on our trip. The double bed and balcony room was so authentic and perfect. The room was brilliantly cleaned everyday. The communal area featured a fridge, microwave and free water as well as utensils to make breakfast and lunch. The location was perfect too, just a short walk to the restaurants and lagoon. The family that run the case were extremely helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay again!

We had an excellent stay! Although check-in was until 10 PM, we arrived very late at around 3 AM due to missing our bus because of traffic. The owner graciously woke up and welcomed us warmly, which we truly appreciated. The room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was satisfying, especially the delicious eggs. The property also features a beautiful garden with turtles wandering around, adding a unique and charming touch to the experience. Highly recommended!

Viajero Bacalar has the perfect mix of comfort, great energy and stunning views. The hostel is beautifully renovated, the common areas are super chill, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Kamila is the best! Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the location is close to everything but still peaceful. A perfect spot to enjoy Bacalar. I’d definitely come back.

2 minutes walk to the ado busstation and very clean. Needed some rest. So this was perfect!

We rented an appartment and it was really spaceus, comfortable and clean, there is a small and useful kitchen, a terrace and space to dry towels. Everybody can borrow stuff also from downstairs common kitchen, bikes are also there for common use. The host was really friendly and super hardworking, everything she made for breakfast was superb. Location is perfect, a short walk to the public beach. Highly recommended for pleasant family holidays.

Milli, the owner was really welcoming and showed us all the facilities, patio, kitchen, room, parking and explained how everything works. She also gave us tips for the area, where to eat etc. The recommended Taqueria Poc-Chuc was fantastic and very reasonably priced. We loved the big kitchen and the provided facilities to prepare a really nice breakfast. Panificadora San Jose is just around the corner if you want fresh bread for breakfast, they have some bread, mainly sweet croissant-like bread and many sweets.
