The guesthouse is perfectly located 5 minutes from Aman Jaya Bus Terminal. I think it is the best option for hotels in the area if you arrive at that bus station and leave from there. You have a bus that takes you to the city center in 30 minutes. The place is a small hostel, but with private rooms. You have a common space, boiler, shared bathrooms. Access is sent to you in private as key code etc. The rooms are clean, so do the bath rooms. Downstairs there's a great restaurant where you can have an open breakfast with less than 10 MYR.

The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The Tudor had beautiful decor and the room was extremely clean, cosy and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend anyone travelling to Ipoh to look into staying at the Tudor.

I loved everything about my stay in Taiping. The location ideal, providing so many opportunities of cultural and nature tourism! I explored the town and surroundings, the fishing village Kuala Sepetang, the Bukit Larut Mountain, the Buddhist sanctuary, an inspiring Hindu Temple, and the Lake gardens (amongst other places!) The nature in Taiping is incredible. Brochures are available to help plan your sight seeing and day trips. There is also the option for renting a bicycle, which I took advantage of for the duration of my trip! The food in Taiping is also exceptional, and I didn't have a single bad food experience (I tried out all of the famous Taiping stalls and kopitiams and many of the food courts)! I immediately felt at home in Taiping. More so when I arrived in the hostel and was welcomed by Tricia. She took very good care of me and was always ready to help me out of to give my recommendations on where to go :) The hostel provided a very comfortable stay. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The complimentary tea and coffee in the cafe gave a sweet personal touch. The beds and rooms are very comfortable, with a lot of storage space (that can be locked). I extended my stay by numerous days and could have easily stayed even longer!

Everything was amazing. The room was comfortable, their was a kitchen and cooking ustensils, the staff was super nice, the location in the center. Just perfect!

The whole thing about this chalet. Should have stayed for 1 more night. A single night wasn't enough as it was a last minute decision. Love the chalet becoz it reminisce my childhood memories where i always stayed at grandmom's house in a village sorrounded by trees and with the sound of fauna at night and in the morning. Will definitely return to this lovely chalet soon.

The hotel is neat and clean. The instructions to enter the hotel is easy to understand. It has multiple games to play such as UNO cards, mini snooker table. It's good for friends to enjoy their staycation. There was a parking spot reserved for their customer. They have a fridge, hot and cold water dispenser, dish soap and sponge to do the dishes, blankets were comfortable.
