The views from the room were amazing! We were living in the tree tops! The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a great shower room. The kitchen area was well-equipped and we were able to make our breakfast at our leisure and to sit looking at another amazing view. We had a wonderful stay with Richard and are already booked to return.

The hosts and the place are extraordinary. We read the reviews and arrived with quite high expectations. But Julie and Nick and this amazing lodge exceeded them. They go the extra mile for their guests and that's an understatement. The lodge is a class of its own and so are the rooms. Comfy bed, super clean ... and the rest you need to experience for yourselves. We will be back - hopefully soon.

This was a secret escape. A very peaceful serene location really helped myself and Husband wind down from a long flight from the UK and set up for the rest of our tour around New Zealand. The property is a 5 minute drive into Kerikeri with plenty of shops and restaurants however they do close early compared to UK standards. There is a brewery with high standard restaurant and a garden bar with delicious snacks open until late this is a 15- 20 minute walk through the woods take a torch for return journey especially if you have sampled one or two over the top. I can only say this is a lovely place to stay and unwind with a bottle of wine from the well stocked mini bar 🍸 Thank you to Carla, Christian & Biscuit for a memorable stay and lovely breakfast. The surroundings are well kept and the rooms are very clean and cozy. We travelled as a couple with one adult child and the accommodation upstairs suited us perfectly. The hosts were very welcoming and caring. We got all the recommendations for the day in the area. Forest Waters are convenient for everything you want to do in the Bay of Islands. Also the food served at breakfast was excellent, everything home made, from the garden/farm or from the farmer’s market. Delphine and Guillaume went far and beyond. Merci, Delphine and the family!
