The stay was just perfect. The host is very, very friendly and super helpful; she even lend us stuff to be able to go hiking and gave us a lot of hints in general, too. Apart from the host, the breakfast is also perfect with a lot of choices as well as the rooms. For cars, there is also a parking space. This was one of the best - or even the best - accomodation we had in New Zealand!

Perfect location on heights near taranaki, overlooking a small valley. Close to many attractive spots, such as mangorei trails, Pukeiti garden. There is a nice bath tub on the decker, from which you can see the valley while taking bath. The lodge is well designed with open access to outdoors and with privacy. The facilities are new and clean. Breakfast is Ok.

The location is ideal to go to the beach and walk along the Coastal Walkway. Jenny was lovely and helpful and I had plenty of choice for breakfast.

Booked at 4pm on Friday and within 30 minutes, our stay was organized and check-in was a breeze. After the Taranaki Track, the unbelievably comfy bed and amazing shower were the perfect treat. Highly recommend!
