Breakfast was quite exceptional, exceeded expectations and a definite highlight. Not only tea and coffee available in our room, but able to purchase drinks too. The crockery was beautiful and all very well thought out. Plenty of towels, even a styling brush, what a great touch, and a great walk in shower.

If I could rate this one more than 10/10 I would. Tracee is amazing. The rooms are absolutely divine. The nearest I have been to a comfy bed since Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The bathroom was the cleanest I have seen and loads of little touches that were so nice. Thank you Tracee and Brian

Lovely cottage room at the rear of the main house with a little garden and outside seating. A mini kitchen, lounge, Queen sized bed and spacious bathroom. Nicely appointed and breakfast included. Lovely friendly staff.

Originally built in the 1920s, Picton House B&B and Motel is ideally located for exploring the Queen Charlotte Track. It is 5 minutes' walk from the waterfront.

Beautiful little place to stay! Rosie was great with communication & very friendly when we arrived. It was bigger than we expected & only a super short walk to the water front. It's a great spot in a beautiful location.

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic location right by the water at Queen Charlotte Sound. We enjoyed walking the last leg of the famous Queen Charlotte track, which was a wonderful, relatively easy track offering superb views. Jumped off the jetty for a swim in the sound and within 2 mins having a hot shower at the apartment. Tanya and Shayne could not have made us more welcome. They clearly enjoy sharing their piece of paradise, and their enthusiasm is addictive. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, peaceful sleep. Don't hesitate to book and stay as long as you possibly can. You won't regret it! We've stayed in some gorgeous places in the South Island and this one was our favourite.
