We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day here. The views we spectacular and close proximity to the Beach. We were given the biggest room but it was really beutiful.

Visiting from Australia (almost 30yrs) being able to enjoy nature without the worry of snakes and poisonous spiders. The great view of the ranges and enjoying country style living of NZ. Also a great to be in close proximity of Whakatāne and my hometime Kawerau.

It was very peaceful, the bed was very comfortable, very warm cabin, great owners of the cabin, I would definitely book it out again for a weekend.

I had such a lovely stay with Miria & Taroi who received me with open hearts after my friend had to cancel on our trip due to covid. Their place is a little oasis right next to the beach, perfect to unwind & get inspired!
