Upon arrival we were met by the Hostess Joelle and her two adorable fluffy pup companions Sia and Tallulah. And we immediately felt at home. Joelle went out of her way to make our stay memorable with some amazing food and even helped with our itinerary suggesting we head to Piton de la Fournaise bright and early. When we got up for our journey at 05:00am we were met by Joelle in the kitchen ready with coffee and some amazing road trip lunch boxes(which did not disappoint 😁) As for our room it was very neat and the bed very comfortable, we had a en-suite bathroom and access to the kitchen. Recommended.

We had a huge dinner and Patrick cooked vegetarian for us the first time in his life so huge thanks for that! We had a good conversation, they told us a lot about Rénion island, showed us a film, gave us some tips. They don't speak English but were well prepared with a translator app.

Amazing stay at L'Escale Royale, Sebastian and his wife are great hosts and made our stay memorable. Do choose their dinner option if offered, they cooked great traditional creole dinner every night. Also the place where the hotel is located. offers great views as you wake up in a valley between mountains. Just amaizng.

Beautiful clean apartment with wonderful view. Jacuzzi was a great plus. The owners prepared very early breakfast for us because we wanted to drive up to Salazie for hiking. Private parking in front of the house.
