Because of the cyclone Belal, it was unfortunately not possible to stay in the accommodation, the route to the town was blocked. However, I'd like to emphasize how professionally Jacques André handled the situation. He kept me well informed about things, informed me promptly about the fact that the route to the town was blocked after the cyclone and he immediately and proactively offered a solution. That's a perfect example for superb customer service and experience.

Beautiful clean apartment with wonderful view. Jacuzzi was a great plus. The owners prepared very early breakfast for us because we wanted to drive up to Salazie for hiking. Private parking in front of the house.

An incredibly nice place run by a wonderful family in a quiet part of Cilaos - perfect location if you're going to the volcano.     Amazing stay at L'Escale Royale, Sebastian and his wife are great hosts and made our stay memorable. Do choose their dinner option if offered, they cooked great traditional creole dinner every night. Also the place where the hotel is located. offers great views as you wake up in a valley between mountains. Just amaizng.
