I had a truly wonderful experience at Jacob’s B&B. The Zanzibar breakfast prepared specially at my request was absolutely delicious – featuring chipsi mayai, chapati, and rich Zanzibar spiced coffee. A perfect local touch to start the day! The location is excellent – in a quiet neighbourhood next to the Musical Academy, where you can enjoy taarab concerts, yet just a short walk from downtown and the historical sites of Stone Town. It’s peaceful, yet central. The house is quiet, clean, and very comfortable, with the added bonus of private parking right in front – a rare find in Stone Town. Jacob, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He arranged transport from the sea resort and a drop-off at the airport, and was very flexible with check-in and check-out times, which made my stay even more relaxed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and well-located place to stay in Stone Town!
