the bunk beds were very convenient, and the warm bed coverings, the communal gas fireplace, fairly quiet only noise was the road in front of the lodge. The individual quaint cottages,very quiet could not hear any sound from the outside except the rain falling on the roof which was fine.

well it is certainly a quaint old hotel - the lobby area very charming. In the room, the bathroom sink was very nice. The bed wasn't uncomfortable.
