The host is really really nice and makes a beautiful breakfast, the location is just 5 minutes outside of Addo NP and is a safe place. They also help you with advise when you want to travel to the next spot. So you know where it is safe. The beds are really comfy and the showers are good. I can recommend this accomodatie to everybody.

Situated on the banks of the Sundays River, Sundune Guest House offers a garden with terrace . There is also a shared lounge.

What really makes this accommodation stand out is the customer service level. Byron was an excellent host and we met new team member Leanne who was lovely. Our room (more than a room actually with a lounge) was very comfortable and had a nice balcony looking out at the back of the garden with the river and sand dunes at the end. We stayed in order to visit Addo and it was perfectly located for that as it's so close to the South gate. Breakfast was very good too. We ate at the Taste of Africa restaurant literally yards away and had great pizzas. The Spar shop was handy and Byron organised for us to have sandwiches to collect as soon as they opened for us to take to Addo. We would highly recommend Sundune.

Happy Jackal is conveniently located 2 km from the South Gate to Addo National Park.

I miss Sousette's smile and hospitality. Peaceful place , friendly atmosphere, delicious dinners and homebaked bread. The safari in Addo National Park was an unforgettable experience. 10 out of 10!

The stay at Addo Riverside Manor was amazing. The accomodation is beautiful and the owners are so friendly, helpful and nice. Also the rooms are so pretty and the breakfast that was included was tasty. There is also the possibility to swim in the indoor pool or even the river that flows alongside the apartment and the enchanting garden. Last but not least the drive to the southern gate of Addo National Park is just about 5 minutes which is really great if you aim to see the animals in the early morning. All in all I can really recommend a stay in Addo Riverside Manor. We enjoyed it.

Highly recommended. The place is clean and lovely, it looks better than the photos. It has all the nice extras, a fridge with milk. Kettle with tea bags and coffee. Hairdryer, microwave, a great shower and it’s only a 6 minute drive to the Southern gate of Addo Elephant Park. The owners are a lovely local family, had a great chat and got some good advice about Addo. Also, I forgot my drone in the accommodation and when I noticed and I went back, the cleaning lady already had put it aside for us to pick it up. We really appreciated this.

Set in Port Elizabeth, Addo Mountain View offers a patio with garden and quiet street views, as well as a year-round outdoor pool, hot tub and open-air bath.

Stellenhof Guest House is a wonderful oasis in the middle of a citrus farm and adjacent to Addo Elephant Park. The compound is held in the Cape Dutch style of yore but at the same time with very modern, stylish and clean amenities. Personnel is exceedingly friendly and competent. Both breakfast and dinner are being served in a wonderful pavillion-style restaurant. Stellenhof offers Safari drives with very knowledgeable guides. Highly recommended!

Set on a citrus farm in the malaria free Sunday River Valley, Bydand B&B offers air-conditioned rooms and is only 12km from the main gates of the Addo Elephant National Park.

Breakfast was served at their newly acquired guesthouse, beautiful, beautiful place great surroundings, beautiful trees nice gardens. Great breakfast cooked my eggs exactly as I wanted them.

We stayed one night at the guest house at Suma's Rest and it was an ideal location to visit Addo elephant park. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, and we felt welcome and well looked after.
